Workers of Kostromaenergo’s Distribution Zones took part in the improvement of monuments and memorial complexes of the Great Patriotic War

07.05.2020

On the eve of the Day of the 75th anniversary of the Great Victory, employees of the branch “Rosseti Centre Kostromaenergo” in all 27 Distribution Zones held actions to improve monuments and memorials of military glory in their small homeland. Thus, the power engineers of the Ostrovsky Distribution Zone carried out a large-scale reconstruction of the Monument to the Fallen Soldiers in the village of Krasnaya Polyana, and the employees of the Sudislavsky Distribution Zone initiated the reconstruction of the Monument to the Soldiers-Residents of Sudislav who fought for the independence of the Motherland in 1941-1945. In the Digital Nerekhtsky Distribution Zones, the chief of the Distribution Zone and colleagues renewed the memorial in the village of Teterinsky, for which he received thanks from the head of the Voskresensky rural settlement Sergey Pichugin. Thanks to the power engineers, the settlement of Vetluzhsky in the Sharyinsky district can now be proud of its Memorial of Military Glory, as well as the small village of Slovinka in the Antropovsky district, where the workers of the Distribution Zone painted the monument to the soldiers and put in order the area around it. In each district, the power engineers completely cleaned the surrounding area from dead wood, cut trees hanging on the monuments, weeded the grass, removed rubbish, updated inscriptions on memorial plates, and painted monuments and obelisks. This is a tribute to the memory and respect of the Kostroma power engineers of Rosseti Centre for those who fought on the fronts of the Great Patriotic War and defended their Motherland.
