Workers of the rear of Kostromaenergo received gifts from power engineers and volunteers on the eve of the 75th anniversary of the Great Victory

On the eve of the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, representatives of the volunteer movement “League of Good” of the branch “Rosseti Centre Kostromaenergo” congratulated veterans of the branch - workers of the rear. On behalf of the Kostroma power engineers, they handed them memorable gifts.

Victory Day in Kostromaenergo is always celebrated on a large scale and with special warmth and care - solemn and festive events with congratulations and gifts are organized for veterans. Even though the current situation has made adjustments to the format of the holiday, the power engineers delivered gifts to homes of the workers of the rear, taking into account the necessary precautions.

“We sacredly honour the memory of the immortal feat of our people in the Great Patriotic War, support veterans, we consider it our duty not only to tell the youth about the courage of the liberating soldiers who defended the freedom and independence of our Motherland, but also to involve them in joint actions,” stressed the head of the department of social relations of the Kostromaenergo branch Natalia Stepanycheva.

Natalia Vdovenko, a volunteer of the “League of Good” of the branch “Rosseti Centre Kostromaenergo”, emphasized: “Holding such events is a sign of our deep respect for veterans, workers of the rear, and involvement in their feat. It is also an opportunity to say thanks again. We cannot stand aside, especially now, in a difficult situation for the whole country. And we are incredibly pleased that our attention to veterans helps create a positive and festive mood for them.”
