Belgorod power engineers performed festive illumination of high-voltage power line poles in Belgorod

29.04.2020

On the eve of the 75th anniversary of the Great Victory, power engineers of “Rosseti Centre Belgorodenergo” carried out LED illumination of two high-voltage power line poles in Belgorod and a communication mast in Borisovka. The 30-metre towers lit up in blue.

The power engineers mounted a total of 12 high-power blue spotlights with a scattering effect on massive metal structures located in the Belgorod City Mall area and near the reconstructed Student-Kalinina road junction. Soft light illuminates the poles in the evening and night, does not blind cars passing by and does not interfere with people living nearby. The installation of the floodlights was carried out by specialists of the power line service.

The power engineers performed similar work in Borisovka at the request of the head of the district administration, providing colouring and illumination of the communication mast located near the reconstructed monastery.

This year, for the holiday, the power engineers painted white and blue six poles of 35 kV high-voltage power lines passing through the territory of the military-historical museum “The Field of Prokhorovka” and the park “Grushki” in Prokhorovka. In total, in the past year, the power engineers brought 50 poles of 35-110 kV throughout the region into line with the corporate standard, and another 70 will be painted this year.

According to the specialists of the power line service of the branch “Rosseti Centre Belgorodenergo”, the painting is carried out by our own personnel using climbing equipment. On average, about 60-80 kg of paint is consumed per metalwork. The poles take on a festive well-groomed appearance, fit into the urban landscape and delight residents of the region with their look.

The project to increase the aesthetic attractiveness of energy facilities located in cities and district centres of the region is being implemented as part of the instructions of General Director of Rosseti Centre - the managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga Region Igor Makovskiy and Governor of the Belgorod region Yevgeny Savchenko.
