Power engineers of Rosseti Centre delivered 4.7 megawatts of additional capacity to a production base in the city of Smolensk

Specialists of the branch “Rosseti Centre Smolenskenergo” completed the grid connection of a production base in the city of Smolensk on Industrial Street of OJSC “Promtekhmontazh”. The power of the facility was increased by 4,700 kW.

To provide the additional capacity, the power engineers reconstructed the 110/6 kV Smolensk-2 substation in terms of replacing the vacuum circuit breaker and current transformers with larger equipment. As a result, the total capacity of the facility, taking into account the previously connected kilowatts, amounted to 7.5 MW.

The main activity of the applicant is construction of utilities for water supply and sanitation, gas supply. The social effect will be expressed in creation of new jobs.

Despite the emerging epidemiological situation and the introduced regime of increased readiness and self-isolation, the branch’s specialists do not slow down the pace of grid connection and fulfill their obligations efficiently and on time. The power engineers are ready to provide high-quality power supply to consumers and the implementation of production programs in any conditions.

Fulfilling the obligations of grid connection of production facilities, Smolenskenergo contributes to the growth of investment attractiveness and the development of the Smolensk region.
