“Rosseti Centre Kurskenergo” to provide reliable energy supply to the agro-industrial holding “Miratorg-Kursk”

The branch “Rosseti Centre Kurskenergo” took for operational maintenance the 110/10 kV “Miratorg” substation with a capacity of 50 MVA and the 110 kV cable and overhead lines “Kurskaya-Miratorg”, “Yuzhnaya-Miratorg”, owned by the largest agricultural holding Miratorg-Kursk LLC.

The feeding centre and cable and overhead lines were constructed to provide power to a robotic slaughterhouse in the Oktyabrsky district of the Kursk region with a capacity of 4.5 million pigs per year. This will be the largest slaughter and processing enterprise in Europe for live-stock animals.

Kurskenergo’s specialists carried out diagnostics and testing of equipment, analysis of operational schemes of electrical installations. After comprehensive testing, the power engineers commissioned the substation equipment.

The equipment control does not imply the constant presence of Kurskenergo’s operating personnel at the “Miratorg” substation. Employees of the enterprise will carry out scheduled preventive work at the facilities, eliminate possible emergency situations in case of the equipment malfunction.
