Kostromaenergo’s volunteers pleased children from a children’s hospital

Representatives of the volunteer (voluntary) movement “League of Good” of the branch “Rosseti Centre Kostromaenergo”, as well as leaders of the trade union organization of the enterprise, today visited the Kostroma Regional Children’s Hospital. They donated dozens of books, albums, packs of coloured paper and stationery to the children. Every year in the hospital, 7 thousand people are treated. Now children from the whole region are in quarantine and see loved ones only through the window of the ward.

“The children in the hospital need more than medicine,” says Irina Snetkova, a senior nurse of the Kostroma Regional Children’s Hospital. “They need care and support, the feeling that even during the quarantine period they are not alone. We are sincerely grateful to the Kostroma power engineers for bright books, albums, paints and coloured pencils and a lot of everything that they presented to our children today. Now in their free time from procedures, they will be able to do what they love and forget a little about the disease.”

The volunteer association of the Kostromaenergo branch, trade union organization of the enterprise carry out activities within the framework of the All-Russian action of mutual assistance #“We are together”, which is aimed at providing support to children, elderly and people with limited mobility.
