Preparations are underway for the 75th anniversary of the Great Victory at the branch “Rosseti Centre Kostromaenergo”. The branch implements a number of projects dedicated to this memorable date. Most of them are in the final stages. So, at the moment, there is a reconstruction of the stele in the City Distribution Zone, which was created on the 65th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. On the initiative of Dmitry Prokhorov, Deputy General Director - Director of the branch “Rosseti Centre Kostromaenergo”, in fact, after 10 years, 4 more memorial plates with the names of 77 power engineers, who fought on the fronts of the Great Patriotic War from different regions of the Kostroma region, are erected there.
In each of 27 districts of the Kostroma region, military memorials and monuments are put in order by power engineers of Distribution Zones. The decoration of one of the main streets of Kostroma - Ivan Susanin Street will be a transformer substation, on which a graffiti drawing is currently applied. The idea was invented by power engineers-volunteers of the Association “League of Good”. At the substation under the logo of Rosseti Centre, a Soviet tank is depicted, the First-Degree Order of the Patriotic War against a peaceful blue sky. Passersby happily examine the creation, remembering the upcoming holiday.
“The power engineers of Rosseti Centre in all 20 branches are carrying out activities in preparation for the Victory anniversary, these actions are a sign of our deep respect for veterans and their involvement in their feat. Now, in a difficult situation for our country, it is especially important to create a positive mood among people, refer to eternal values, feel a unity of thoughts and feelings,” stressed Igor Makovskiy, General Director of Rosseti Centre - the managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga Region.
