20.04.2020

Specialists of “Rosseti Centre Tverenergo” for a few hours at night restored the power supply of the gardening partnership “Synthetic”. Due to an emergency outage of the 10 kV overhead line, about 2,000 residential sector consumers were left without light. The power line, on which the damage was detected, belonged to the customer, the specified electrical installation was not operated by the Tver branch.

According to eyewitnesses, the technological violation was triggered by a traffic accident during a collision with a power line pole, which led to its fall.

For help in restoring electricity, the Ministry of Energy and Housing and Utilities of the Tver Region and the chairman of the gardeners’ non-commercial partnership “Synthetic” Nadezhda Vinogradova referred to the branch “Rosseti Centre Tverenergo”.

2 crews of the Tver branch of Rosseti Centre, consisting of 8 people and 3 specialized vehicles, were immediately sent to the outage site. The old damaged power facility was dismantled, and in exchange, the power engineers assembled and installed a new 10 kV power line pole.

Since the emergency outage occurred late in the evening, the whole range of work was organized by Tverenergo’s employees at night and was fully completed by 5:00 am. The power supply was completely restored, and in the early morning the light was lit in houses of the residents.

“The case when the power supply suffers through the fault of careless motorists is not a single one for “Rosseti Centre Tverenergo”. Also, being a branch of a socially responsible grid company, we have repeatedly come to the rescue to restore energy supply in grids that do not belong to Rosseti Centre,” stresses First Deputy General Director - Chief Engineer of Rosseti Centre - the managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga Region Alexander Pilyugin. “But now the power engineers want to remind consumers of the restrictive measures in force in the country and in the Tver region. In the current epidemiological situation, the energy company continues its work, but at the same time urges residents to show consciousness and self-discipline, and not only follow the rules of the road, but also adhere to reasonable recommendations of the Ministry of Health of Russia, limiting all their movements and observing the conditions of voluntary self-isolation, so as not to allow worsening of the spread of viral infections.”
