Power engineers of Rosseti Centre Kostromaenergo connected a new feldsher-midwife station to the grid

17.04.2020

Power engineers of the branch “Rosseti Centre Kostromaenergo” in the shortest possible time, for just four days, completed the connection to the electric grid of a new modular building of the feldsher-midwife station in the village of Lomki of the Ostrovsky district.

In order to improve the quality of medical care for the rural population, the feldsher-midwife station has the so-called “double feed”. In April, in order to carry out the main power supply in the medical facility, the existing 0.4 kV overhead line was reconstructed - the power engineers replaced the poles and suspension of 53 metres with self-supporting insulated wire. The backup power supply will be provided through a new line. To do this, the specialists completed the construction of a 0.4 kV overhead line with self-supporting insulated wire with a length of 290 m.

Thanks to the work done by the power engineers, more than 280 residents of the villages of Lomki and Boltushki of the Ostrovsky district will be able to receive medical care in the feldsher-midwife station. Previously, doctors received patients in a building that was in disrepair.

Please, be reminded that in March Kostroma power engineers completed the connection to the electric grid of the building of a new feldsher-midwife station in the village of Veselovo of the Krasnoselsky district.

By the end of 2020, employees of “Rosseti Centre Kostromaenergo” plan to complete the connection to the grid of the building of the Centre for Outpatient Cancer Care in Kostroma. To this end, in particular, they will have to design and construct multi-core cable lines of 0.4 kV with a total length of more than one kilometre. The Centre of an area of more than 1,000 square metres is planned to be commissioned in late January 2021. The commissioning of the new medical facility will allow to quickly conduct examinations, identify and treat diseases in the early stages.
