Tverenergo introduced a high alert mode of operation

In connection with the predicted worsening weather conditions, a high alert mode of operation has been introduced at the branch “Rosseti Centre Tverenergo”. Strengthening of the wind with gusts up to 20 m/s is expected in the region.

Tverenergo continues to carry out its work to ensure reliable energy supply to residents of the Tver region during the period of the introduction of preventive measures in the country.

In accordance with the task set by Director General of Rosseti, Pavel Livinskiy, on the eve of non-working days, Tver power engineers pay special attention to uninterrupted power supply to key infrastructure facilities in the regions.

Tverenergo’s specialists carry out enhanced monitoring of the meteorological situation in the entire region. The forces and means of operating personnel are fully mobilized, ready at any time to advance to a place of technological failures at facilities of the electric grid complex. If necessary, 125 crews consisting of 425 personnel, 132 specialized vehicles can be involved in eliminating technological violations in the branch.

The operation of power facilities is under special control. Backup power supply sources in the amount of 48 pieces, each with a capacity of 30 kW and above, are ready for use.

The power engineers pay attention to the need for strict adherence to safety regulations in the vicinity of power plants and power lines. It is forbidden to approach ragged wires of power lines closer than 8 metres, to carry out independent work to restore power supply.
