Lipetskenergo in 2020 to spend more than 300 million rubles on maintenance and repair of grids

13.03.2020

The branch “Rosseti Centre Lipetskenergo” has started the implementation of its maintenance and repair program. Power engineers will carry out a large volume of measures aimed at ensuring the reliability of power supply to consumers. More than 319 kilometres of cable and overhead power lines of 0.4-110 kV and 57 transformer substations will be repaired. Equipment will be repaired at 51 substations of 35-110 kV.

The largest and most significant facilities of Lipetskenergo’s repair program this year will be the 110/6/6 kV substation GPP-2 and the 110/35/10 kV substation “Lev Tolstoy”, providing power supply to more than 25 thousand residents of 15 settlements of the region. Also, among the significant facilities of the repair campaign are the 110 kV overhead lines “Usman left”, “Usman right”, “Don left”, “Don right” and the 35 kV overhead line “East right”.

This year, 639 hectares will be cleared of woody-shrubby vegetation.

“The implementation of the branch’s repair program is aimed at ensuring the operability of power lines and substations, trouble-free passage of the heating season and a general increase in the reliability of the region’s electric grid complex,” stressed Mikhail Boyev, deputy chief engineer for operation and head of the high-voltage grids department of the branch “Rosseti Centre Lipetskenergo”.

The power engineers ask residents of the region to be understanding about temporary inconveniences associated with a partial or complete limitation of power supply during the scheduled work, as these measures are aimed at further uninterrupted operation of power equipment and avoidance of emergency situations in grids.

You can see the schedule of planned outages on Rosseti Centre’s website at mrsk-1.ru (on the main page of the site you need to click on the “Power Outage” banner) or by calling the direct line of power engineers at 1350 (from landline phones) or 8-800-50- 50-115. Experts of the Contact Centre will tell you if the lack of electricity in the house is a planned outage, or if there is an emergency situation, they will clarify the timing of the turn-on and the reason for the blackout.
