According to the results of 2019, work was carried out at the branch “Rosseti Centre Kurskenergo” on the removal of grid infrastructure from premises of nine schools and two preschool institutions in the Bolshesoldatsky, Glushkovsky, Gorshechensky, Lgovsky districts of the Kursk region. Costs amounted to 815.4 thousand rubles.
During the implementation of the Program to reduce the risk of injuries at power facilities, the Kurskenergo branch carries out the transfer of overhead power lines passing near educational institutions, sports facilities and playgrounds outside their territories, the conversion of sections of overhead lines into cable lines in a trench, and in the territories, where there is no possibility of removal of low-voltage overhead lines, the power engineers replace the wire with a more modern and safe one - self-supporting insulated wire (SIW). In total, in 2019, 11 overhead power lines were transferred outside the territory of schools and kindergartens by the power engineers, the total length of the reconstructed sections of overhead lines exceeded 3.9 kilometres.
In 2020, Kurskenergo will continue the work in this direction. By the end of the year, the power engineers plan to remove power facilities from premises of twelve children’s institutions.
