General Director of Rosseti Centre - the managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga Region Igor Makovskiy had a working visit to the Yaroslavl region

11.03.2020

During the trip, the head of the company inspected activities of the Yarenergo branch, met with the team, summarized the work of the Yaroslavl power engineers in 2019 and set promising directions for development in 2020.

Igor Makovskiy estimated the annual amount of work performed by the Yaroslavl branch of Rosseti Centre. Among the significant facilities of the 2019 investment program are the “Abbakumtsevo” and “Zalesye” substations. These are large power centres of the regional energy system. For example, the reconstruction of the 110 kV “Abbakumtsevo” substation made it possible to increase the capacity of the facility to 16 MVA, which increased the reliability of power supply to 149 settlements of the Yaroslavsky and Nekrasovsky municipal districts.

Separately, Igor Makovskiy focused on the implementation of the digital transformation program in the Yaroslavl region. Last year, 26 reclosers, 10 sets of controlled disconnectors, 64 short-circuit indicators were installed in the electric grids of the Tutaevsky district under the “Digital Distribution Zone” project. At the same time, a comprehensive energy monitoring system was implemented - transformer substations of 10/0.4 kV, equipped with telemetry devices, provide voltage control and transfer these data to the Grid Control Centre. This year, the power engineers will continue to modernize the Tutaevsky district. The head of the company instructed to improve the remote control of new equipment, switch to digital communication, and also ordered to direct all the forces of the team to achieve the standard level of losses, conduct an audit and inspect labour efficiency. He noted that the development of the energy system should go along the innovative path with the widespread use of modern technologies.

“Our main task is high indicators of reliability and quality of power supply. It is on these indicators that residents evaluate the work of power engineers. Such an approach will allow us to reduce the failure rate in grids and decrease the time of restoration work during elimination of technological violations,” Igor Makovskiy outlined the priorities for further activities of the Yaroslavl power engineers.
