In 2020 Kurskenergo to repair more than 760 kilometres of power lines

The branch “Rosseti Centre Kurskenergo” started implementing the 2020 repair program. This year, power engineers will repair 365 transformer substations of 110-0.4 kV and 767 kilometres of overhead power lines of various voltage levels.

The equipment will be repaired at 18 substations with a voltage level of 35-110 kV: these are the 110/35/10 kV substations “Klyukva”, “Dmitriev”, “Cheremoshki”, “Belaya”, “Maryino”, the 110/35/6 kV substation “Manturovo”, others. And also - the 110 kV overhead lines “Kursk NPP - Lgov”, “Rudnaya - Khomutovka”, “TPP 1 - Seymskaya”, “Yuzhnaya - Lgov”, which will ensure reliable and high-quality power supply for a number of settlements in the Kurchatovsky and Khomutovsky districts of the Kursk region, as well as agricultural facilities of the group of companies “Agropromkomplektatsiya” in the Dmitrievsky district.

Kurskenergo’s crews will clear more than 782 hectares of power lines from tree and shrubbery vegetation by the end of the year.

As of 1 March, in accordance with the plan, the power engineers repaired more than 118 km of 0.4 - 110 kV overhead lines, four transformer substations and 24 transformers of 0.4 kV, cleared 169 hectares of routes along power lines.

When carrying out repairs the Kurskenergo branch pays special attention to observing labour protection rules and the quality of work performed.

“We have prepared the optimal repair program and will implement it in order to ensure uninterrupted power supply to consumers in the Kursk region in the new heating season,” stressed Vyacheslav Istomin, First Deputy Director - Chief Engineer of Kurskenergo.
