05.03.2020

Employees of Rosseti Centre Belgorodenergo were among prize winners of the 20th All-Russian contest “Engineer of the Year-2019”. Valery Nelasov, a leading engineer of the service for dispatching and technological management and information technologies, was awarded the title “Professional Engineer of Russia”. An engineer of the production and technical group of the Yakovlevsky Distribution Zone Tatyana Levina became the winner of the second qualifying round according to the version “Engineering Art of the Young”.

Valery Nelasov has been working in the Belgorod power system since 2005. He participated in the commissioning of an automated control system at the Luch gas turbine CHPP, accompanied the project for the implementation of an automated control system for a gas turbine at the Belgorod TPP.

Since 2010, he has been working in Belgorodenergo as a leading engineer in the department for operation of automated dispatch control systems. He has rich experience in the implementation and operation of various dispatching-technological and automated control systems: MTK-40, ECOM-TM, ARIS MT-200, Mikronika, TDM. With his direct participation in the branch, a number of projects on the use of modern operational-technological control systems were implemented, in particular, the automated execution of typical switching forms at 110 kV substations, a network of weather stations and ice stations, an automated transformer diagnostic system. Valery Nelasov made a significant contribution to the design and construction of the first digital 35 kV substation “Nikolskoye” in the Central Federal District, having mastered and put into practice the best practices for constructing digital substations in the shortest possible time.

Tatyana Levina came to Belgorodenergo in 2014 after graduating from Moscow State Power Engineering University with a degree in “Power Supply”. In her professional activities, she pays great attention to ensuring uninterrupted power supply to consumers. In order to prevent icing of wires and structures of power lines, I suggested using the combined method of ice melting by the method of short circuit on 110 kV overhead lines, and recommended the use of piezoelectric insulators.

In the current work, she continuously monitors the production activities of the Yakovlevsky Distribution Zone in terms of the implementation of the distribution grid equipment repair program, is responsible for updating technical data sheets of electrical equipment, and participates in the verification of standardized reporting forms for new facilities of construction and reconstruction. In 2016, she received a second higher education with a degree in “Economics and Enterprise Management”, graduating with honours from Moscow State Power Engineering University.

The All-Russian contest “Engineer of the Year” has been held since 2000 with the goal of attracting public attention to the engineering profession and raising its status. Its founders, in particular, are the Russian Union of Scientific and Engineering Public Organizations, the International Union of Scientific and Engineering Public Associations, the Academy of Engineering Sciences named after A.M. Prokhorov, the Interregional Public Fund for Promotion of Scientific and Technical Progress. Belgorodenergo’s employees repeatedly participated in the contest and became its winners.
