As part of the program for the consolidation of electric grid assets, the branch “Rosseti Centre Voronezhenergo” concluded a lease agreement with the administration of the Kantemirovsky municipal district of the Voronezh region, which owns electric grid facilities in the urban-type settlement of Kantemirovka, the village of Mitrofanovka and the village of Pisarevka, in relation to 96 transformer substations with a total capacity of 19.233 MVA and 240 km of power lines of 0.4 - 6 and 10 kV. The total number of connected electric grid assets amounted to 1,713.5 conventional units. The auction for the right to conclude a lease was held in electronic form and was open in terms of participants and the application form.
Earlier, on the territory of the Kantemirovsky district, Voronezhenergo operated its own electric grids in 13 out of 16 settlements. As a result of consolidation, from March 2020, the entire electric grid complex of the municipal district will be operated by the Voronezh branch of Rosseti Centre. Please, be reminded that last year, JSC Voronezh City Electric Grid was included in the structure of Rosseti Centre.
The consolidation of electric grid assets is part of the target model for managing the electric grid complex, which Rosseti’s Group of Companies implements in all regions of its presence. This task is formulated in the “Strategy for the Development of the Electric Grid Complex” approved by the Government of the Russian Federation.
