In 2020 Smolenskenergo to allocate almost 250 million rubles for repair of electric grids

27.02.2020

The planned amount of funding for the repair program of the branch “Rosseti Centre Smolenskenergo” in 2020 will be 248.55 million rubles.

For the current year, Smolenskenergo’s specialists plan to repair 1,496.49 km of power lines of all voltage classes and 662 transformer substations of 6-10/0.4 kV. Also, in the work schedule, it is planned to clear routes from tree and shrubbery over an area of 3,104.11 hectares, which is 602.85 ha (24.1%) more than last year.

In order to improve the quality of power supply to consumers, Smolenskenergo will repair individual units of equipment at 180 substations of 35-110 kV.

At the same time, the bulk will be carried out by own forces, which will not only reduce operating costs, but also preserve the planned physical scope of repairs. This year, it is planned to carry out 61.59% of the repair program without the help of contracting organizations using its own personnel.

The power engineers began the repairs in January, but the most active stage of work will be in the warm season.

The repair program of the branch is aimed at ensuring the operability of power lines and substations, trouble-free passage of the heating season and a general increase in the reliability of the region’s electric grid complex.

At the same time, in addition to carrying out the planned measures of the repair program, throughout the year, the power engineers constantly carry out urgent work related to elimination of defects identified during inspection of equipment, the failure of which could potentially lead to serious damage to the equipment in the future.

The power engineers ask residents of the region to be understanding about temporary inconveniences associated with partial or complete limitation of power supply during the scheduled work, as these measures are aimed at further uninterrupted operation of power equipment and avoidance of emergency situations in grids. You can see the schedule of planned outages on Rosseti Centre’s website at mrsk-1.ru (on the main page of the site you need to click on the “Power Outage” banner), and also by calling the direct line of power engineers at 1350 (from landline phones) or 8-800-50- 50-115, where the contact centre’s experts will tell you if the lack of electricity in the house is a planned outage, or if there is an emergency situation, they will specify the turn-on time and the reason for the blackout.
