As a result of a squally wind accompanied by heavy snow, damage to wires on power lines occurred in more than ten districts of the region, which led to interruptions in the power supply to consumers. At the time of bad weather, the branch had a special operating mode.

The interruptions affected the Anninsky, Bobrovsky, Novousmansky, Bogucharsky, Verkhnekhavsky, Gribanovsky, Kamensky, Kantemirovsky, Kashirsky, Liskinsky, Nizhnedevitsky, Novokhopersky, Povorinsky, Ramonsky, Repevsky, Semiluksky, Talovsky, Ternovsky and Khokholsky districts. 71 emergency recovery crews consisting of 284 people, 51 specialized vehicles worked to restore the power supply, 8 reserve power supply sources were used to power socially important facilities.

“At the moment, the weather conditions have returned to normal, there are no mass blackouts. A special mode of operation was cancelled from 4:30 pm, the branch operates in a high-availability mode, eliminating technological violations in 0.4 kV grids at the request of consumers,” stressed Vyacheslav Antonov, the head of the operational headquarters.

If necessary, consumers can contact the toll-free round-the-clock direct line of power engineers at 8 800-50-50-115 or short number 13-50 (for landlines). In addition, residents of the region can report on existing problems related to power supply through the All-Russian Internet portal «Light Country», created by Rosseti to maximize the ease of interaction between power grid specialists and consumers.
