Kostromaenergo held an annual meeting with chiefs of Distribution Zones

Dmitry Prokhorov, Deputy General Director - Director of the branch “Rosseti Centre Kostromaenergo” held an extended meeting with deputy directors of the branch in directions, chiefs of Distribution Zones, deputy chiefs of Distribution Zones for development and sale of services, heads of departments and services. During the meeting, reports on the main areas of production activity for 2019 were heard and priority tasks were discussed.

In 2019, power engineers of the Kostromaenergo branch carried out major repairs of 24 substations of 35-110 kV, repaired 607 transformer substations of 6-10/0.4 kV, cleared 1,788.586 hectares of routes from tree and shrub vegetation, expanded 10 hectares of them. The largest and most significant facilities of the repair program of the branch “Rosseti Centre Kostromaenergo” were the substations 110/35/10 kV “Vostochnaya-2”, 35/10 kV “Galichskaya PTF”, 110/35/10 kV “Kadyi”, 35/6 kV “Tsentralnaya” (city of Sharya).

Under the investment program, over the reporting period, 12 km of 110-0.4 kV power lines were reconstructed. The amount of funds spent is 12.744 million rubles. The net boiler supply for the branch in 2019 amounted to 2,396 million kWh.

According to the results of the work done, Director of the branch “Rosseti Centre Kostromaenergo” Dmitry Prokhorov awarded the chief of the Mezhevsky Distribution Zone Sergey Luginin with an honorary diploma. As a result of the production activities of the fourth quarter of 2019, staff of the Kostromsky Distribution Zone achieved the greatest success, for which its chief Oleg Zaitsev was awarded the Honorary Challenge Cup.

After the meeting, a tour was organized for the chiefs of Distribution Zones to the Security Control Centre (SCC) and the City Dispatch Point (CDP), which were solemnly launched by Pavel Livinskiy, Director General of Rosseti, via a video conferencing on 5 February. The City Dispatch Point is equipped with digital communication channels and information systems, which allow online control of the operation of 0.4-10 kV electric grids in the city of Kostroma and the Kostromsky district: to receive and analyze telemetric information about the operation of the grid facilities, to coordinate the work of on-site and repair crews. The Security Control Centre was put into operation with the modernization of the existing video surveillance system of 35-110 kV substations. It is part of the digital Grid Control Centre of the branch. An important component of it is the system of intelligent video surveillance, which at the time of unauthorized entry into the territory of the substation provides real-time information. In addition to these facilities, the chiefs of Kostromaenergo’s Distribution Zones visited the Nerekhtsky district, where they got acquainted with the installed digital equipment of distributed automation of the Nerekhtsky Distribution Zone. In 2019, 16 reclosers, 15 smart disconnectors and 3 sets of short circuit indicators on taps were installed on its territory.

Meetings with chiefs of Distribution Zones are held in Kostromaenergo on a quarterly basis.
