Due to adverse weather conditions caused by precipitation in the form of wet snow and wind, outages in 6-10 kV grids occurred due to snow sticking to wires and trees. This led to a disruption in the power supply of a number of consumers in the Voronezh region. The disconnections due to bad weather mostly affected the Anninsky, Bobrovsky, Ternovsky, Rossoshansky, Novousmansky, Nizhnedevitsky, Khokholsky, Semiluksky and Verkhnekhavsky districts.
The branch “Rosseti Centre Voronezhenergo” promptly responded to the situation and introduced a special mode of operation. Currently, technological disruptions are being eliminated by 37 emergency recovery crews consisting of more than 120 people, 40 specialized vehicles. For energy supply of socially significant consumers, 8 reserve sources of power supply have been involved.
In total, Voronezhenergo can attract more than 200 crews of over 900 people and more than 349 vehicles to carry out disaster recovery work in case of emergency. In order to organize temporary supply of electricity to consumers in the case of the emergency recovery work, 60 backup power sources with a total capacity of about 1.3 MW can be used.
