Specialists of the branch “Rosseti Centre Yarenergo” have begun the implementation of the annual repair program. In the first two months of 2020, the power engineers will replace 503 insulators on 0.4-110 kV overhead lines, repair about 100 kilometres of power lines and clear 115 hectares of routes of overhead lines from trees and shrubs.
Repair work in the winter season is due to the location of power grid facilities in hard-to-reach wetlands, where it is difficult to get to in the warm season. During this time, the power engineers plan to clear routes of 0.4-10 kV overhead lines and repair electrical equipment in the Breitovsky, Gavrilov-Yamsky, Uglichsky, Rybinsky, Poshekhonsky, Myshkinsky, Danilovsky, Lyubimsky, Yaroslavsky districts of the Yaroslavl region, as well as the city of Yaroslavl.
The annual maintenance and repair program of the Yarenergo branch was approved by order No. 1 “On the results of the work of electric grid facilities of the branches of IDGC of Centre and IDGC of Centre and Volga Region in 2019, the main measures to increase the reliability of the level of operation and repair of power grid facilities, the implementation of new equipment, automation and mechanization of production processes, maintaining the health of the branches’ employees for 2020”. According to the document for the year, the Yarenergo branch will repair about 700 kilometres of power lines of all voltage classes, 228 transformer substations of 6-10 kV, 17 transformers of 6-10 kV, 112 switches and replace 3,816 insulators.
Among the largest facilities of capital and current repairs of the 2020 repair program are the substations “Porechye”, “Tufanovo”, “KS-18”, “Altynovo”, the overhead lines “Tutaevskaya-1, 2” and “Frunzenskaya-1, 2”. The 35/10 kV substation “Porechye” supplies electricity to residents of the Rostovsky district, large agricultural enterprises, a cannery. The 110/6 kV substation “KS-18” provides reliable operation of the gas pipeline section in the Myshkinsky district of the Yaroslavl region, consumers of the Uglichsky district are powered from the 110/10 kV substation “Altynovo”. The 110 kV overhead line “Tutaevskaya” connects the cities of Yaroslavl and Rybinsk, and the 110 kV overhead line “Frunzenskaya” provides electric power to the Kirovsky and Leninsky districts of the city of Yaroslavl, an oil refinery, and the traction substation “Yaroslavl-Glavny”.
The result of repairs carried out by the Yarenergo branch will be an improvement in the technical condition of electrical equipment and an increase in the reliability of energy supply in the region.
