The Council of Veterans and the primary trade union organization of the branch “Rosseti Centre Kostromaenergo” held an unusual event - an exhibition of their creative works “Brain, Soul and Hand Creation”. At the exposition, Kostromaenergo’s veterans presented their own works: embroidery, painting, samples of decorative art, jewelry and much more. In them, the authors to some extent reflected the activities of the energy system. Thus, Olga Semenova, a veteran of Kostromaenergo, wove the exposition “Electric Grids” from wood and threads. And her colleague in the veteran organization Tamara Kochkina embroidered on a large canvas a family tree with eight generations of relatives. Guests of the exhibition were interested in the veterans’ technique of creating works, interesting ideas, so that later they could be used in their work.
The public veteran organization of Kostromaenergo unites more than 800 people from different parts of the region. A large number of various events are held for them, such as “Culinary Competition”, “Evening of Poetry”, “Energy First Grader”, “Gifts of Autumn”, a chess tournament. Often, veterans themselves are among organizers of holidays, contests, campaigns.
