Power supply to consumers of the Belgorod region restored

Employees of Rosseti Centre Belgorodenergo eliminated technological violations caused by bad weather. Currently, consumers in the region receive electricity through permanent power supply circuits.

By 8:00 pm, the branch completed emergency repairs in the 0.4 kV grid. To eliminate the effects of the cyclone, 100 crews and 183 specialized vehicles were involved. 12 crews from other districts were also additionally sent to the most affected Rakityansky and Yakovlevsky districts to quickly restore power supply to consumers.

Please, be reminded that a powerful cyclone, accompanied by a strong squally wind with gusts of more than 20 m/s, wet snow and rain, caused interruptions in power supply to consumers in 10 municipalities of the region. The branch took all measures for the speedy restoration of power supply, created a crisis management centre for coordination of the emergency recovery work, the staff was transferred to the round-the-clock operation.

The power supply in the main 6-10 kV grid was restored by 06:00 am on 31 January. During the day, the power engineers eliminated point disturbances in the 0.4 kV grid. Currently, the supply of electricity to consumers has been restored in full. The electric grid facilities are operating normally.
