Power engineers of Rosseti Centre Kurskenergo returned the light to the bulk of consumers affected by the disaster

30.01.2020

Power engineers of the branch “Rosseti Centre Kurskenergo”, despite the difficult weather conditions, restored electricity supply to residents of two affected districts of the Kursk region, powered by a 6-10 kV grid, by 9:00 pm on 30 January. Work is underway on individual customers’ requests.

Disruption of energy supply in the region occurred due to the passage through the territory of the Kursk region of a cyclone, accompanied by rain, wet snow and a strong gusty wind. From the first minutes, 18 crews, 39 vehicles and 96 specialists of Kurskenergo worked on damaged lines.

At present, the branch has a high-availability mode, organized round-the-clock duty of specialists and emergency response crews, who exercise continuous control over the situation and are ready to respond promptly to facts of power failure.

Kurskenergo asks residents of the Solntsevsky and Oboyansky districts to help the power engineers and promptly report incidents of power outages by calling the round-the-clock of the “direct line” at 8-800-50-50-115. The call is toll-free.
