In 2019, in accordance with the plan of measures for engineering arrangement of micro-districts of mass residential development, approved by the regional government, power engineers of “Rosseti Centre Belgorodenergo” provided the opportunity for owners of 800 sites for individual housing construction to be connected to a centralized power supply system.
17 micro-districts in the Belgorodsky, Starooskolsky, Yakovlevsky and Alekseevsky districts of the region are equipped with electric grid infrastructure. The branch constructed more than 50 kilometres of grids and installed 15 package transformer substations with a total capacity of 3.55 MW. The largest amount of work was performed in the “Streletskoye-73” and “Streletskoye-83”, “Pushkarnoye-78” and “Stroitel” micro-districts. In a number of micro-districts of the Belgorodsky, Shebekinsky, Valuysky and Yakovlevsky districts, design and survey work was carried out for the construction of the current year.
The regional program for providing affordable and comfortable housing and utilities to residents of the Belgorod region has been implemented since 2005. During this time, Belgorodenergo provided electricity to more than 72 thousand sites of private developers, constructed more than five thousand km of 0.4-10 kV power lines, and commissioned more than 1,100 transformer substations. All work is carried out using modern power grid equipment, providing a high level of reliability and safety of power supply to consumers.
