Kostromaenergo took part in the traditional action “Donor Day”

The branch “Rosseti Centre Kostromaenergo” took part in the “Donor Day” campaign that has already become traditional.

This year it was held under the motto “More donors - more life”. The event was attended by 40 employees of the enterprise - both “newcomers” and experienced donors.

Specialists of the Kostroma Regional Blood Transfusion Station worked in Kostromaenergo for three hours, collecting 17.4 litres of blood during this time, which, after careful study, will be sent to treatment and prevention institutions in Kostroma and the Kostroma region.

“Donor Days” have been held at Kostromaenergo since 2013. Power engineers expressed a desire to make such events regular. Since then, they have become annual, provoking the widest response among the power engineers. During the “Donor Days”, Kostromaenergo’s employees donated more than 80 litres of blood to medical facilities in the region.

“It has become a good tradition for Kostroma power engineers to help people. The blood donation campaign has been held at the enterprise for the seventh year,” stressed Lyudmila Tkachenko, the head of the HR department of the Kostromaenergo branch. “Participation in such an action is a very important matter. After all, donating blood, we contribute to the replenishment of the bank of donated blood and, in fact, help save human lives.”
