A solemn meeting was held at the branch “Rosseti Centre Kurskenergo”, dedicated to the professional holiday - the Power Engineers’ Day. It was attended by over 200 employees of the enterprise, the branch managers and industry veterans, as well as representatives of the Kursk Regional Duma.
The solemn event was opened by Alexander Rudnevsky, Deputy General Director - Director of Kurskenergo. He warmly congratulated the power engineers present on the holiday, thanked for conscientious, honest work, summed up the results of the outgoing year, outlined the prospects for the development of the electric grid complex of the Kursk region. “In 2019, we have already begun practical implementation of the Concept “Digital Transformation 2030”, the main projects of which for us were “Digital Distribution Zone”, “Digital Electrician”, “Digital Communications”. In addition, in 2020 we have to commission the Interregional Grid Control Centre of the Kursk and Orel regions. This work involves the implementation of digital technologies, which should become a key factor in improving the reliability and quality of power supply to consumers, and contribute to the development of new services. But all this cannot be realized without the professional, competent, well-coordinated work of our large team, which has always been distinguished by high competence, responsibility and ability to work in a team,” emphasized Alexander Rudnevsky.
Dmitry Gurin, Chairman of the Permanent Committee on Industrial Policy, Construction, Transport and Housing and Communal Services of the Kursk Region, noted the work of the power engineers, calling Kurskenergo’s team a professional and reliable link providing high-quality and uninterrupted power supply to consumers in the region.
The celebration continued with an award ceremony for Kurskenergo’s employees. In the past year, over 100 employees of the branch were awarded departmental, corporate and regional awards for labour achievements. Among them, Sergey Chetverikov, the deputy head of the Dmitriyevsky Distribution Zone for services sales, and Vasily Zaboev, an electrician of a mobile crew of the Zheleznogorsky Distribution Zone, were awarded with a Certificate of Honour from the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation. Vasily Gorlov, the master of a crew of distribution grid operation of the Cheremisinovsky Distribution Zone, was awarded the Silver Honorary Badge of IDGC of Centre. The honorary title “Veteran of the electric grid complex” was awarded to the master of a crew for diagnostics of electrical equipment of the Kurchatovsky Distribution Zone Vladimir Kochetov, the honorary title “Veteran of IDGC of Centre” was awarded to an electrician of a mobile crew of the Sudzhansky Distribution Zone Alexander Ivanenko and an electrician for distribution grid operation of the Kurchatovsky Distribution Zone Nikolay Noskov. Elena Startseva, a chemical engineer of the Northern section of the diagnostics service, was entered the Honour Board of the power grid complex of PJSC Rosseti.
The solemn event ended with a festive concert program prepared by Kurskenergo’s creative team and veterans.
