The Kursk branch of Rosseti Centre was awarded by the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation for active participation in the festival TogetherBrighter

The branch “Rosseti Centre Kurskenergo” was awarded the Letter of Gratitude of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation for making a significant contribution to the organization and holding of events of the All-Russian Festival #TogetherBrighter - 2019.

The award, signed by Deputy Minister of Energy Anton Inyutsyn, was presented to the head of the technological development department Vladimir Voloshin by Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Housing and Public Utilities and Fuel and Energy Complex of the Kursk Region Nikolay Tretyakov at the final seminar on energy conservation.

Kurskenergo took an active part in the regional stage of the All-Russian festival of energy conservation “TogetherBrighter”, held in Kursk in September. The exposition of the branch became one of the most visited. The power engineers presented the main activities of Kurskenergo, spoke in detail about the implementation of the energy conservation program at the enterprise. On the interactive panel installed at the Kurskenergo booth, anyone could test their knowledge in the field of energy conservation by answering quiz questions.

For children, the power engineers held a drawing competition on asphalt on the topic of energy conservation. All young artists received souvenirs, as well as useful brochures with the basic rules of energy conservation and electrical safety in everyday life.

In total, more than 120 various events were held in the branch’s service area within the framework of the festival, in which about 2 thousand children and teenagers took part.

The festival “TogetherBrighter” is an All-Russian event that has been held since 2016 throughout Russia with the support of the Ministry of Energy of Russia, the Ministry of Education of Russia, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Russia, the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh), the Russian schoolchildren’s movement, and the State Corporation “Fund for assistance to reforming housing and communal services”.
