The branch “Rosseti Centre Tverenergo” took part in the “Leader of Change” corporate social responsibility award ceremony.
The contest and award are the finals of the “Leaders of Change” Strategic Corporate Charity Program, organized by the Tver Foundation.
For two months, the organizers accepted applications from companies that implemented their programs in 2018-2019 in the Tver region. Based on the results of the competition, the Youth Council of the branch “Rosseti Centre Tverenergo” was awarded the Sign of Recognition for effective integration into city events and the breadth of audience coverage with the project “Interactive site “Safe electricity”, which has been implemented by young employees of the branch since 2016.
“The Sign of Recognition is another proof that our project is interesting, necessary and relevant at any time, as well as electricity. Developing corporate social responsibility, we want to show our indifference to what is happening around, unite the team and try to protect children from rash actions with electric current. I hope that this initiative to identify socially responsible organizations will be a good incentive for the development and improvement of our region,” shared one of the authors of the project, the head of the metrology and power quality department - chief metrologist of the branch “Rosseti Centre Tverenergo” Vladimir Gorlanov.
It is worth noting that this project has been repeatedly noted both at the regional and federal levels. In 2017, the representatives of Tverenergo’s Youth Council took the third place in the social direction of the interactive session on the formation of youth projects aimed at developing and popularizing the fuel and energy complex in the “Young specialists” category as part of the Youth Day of the Russian Energy Week.
