Kostromaenergo completed the bulk of the repair work on preparing the region’s electric grid complex for winter

The branch “Rosseti Centre Kostromaenergo” summed up the results of the repair campaign for 9 months of 2019.

To ensure reliable energy supply to consumers during this period, Kostroma power engineers repaired 275,804 km of power lines, replaced 1,233 poles, 7,836 insulators, 0.5 km of lightning protection cable.

Within the boundaries of protected zones of power lines, the branch’s specialists cleared 1,766.47 hectares of routes along overhead lines from trees and shrubs. 184.9 million rubles were allocated for the implementation of the repair program for 9 months.

“The implementation of the repair program is one of the key activities for preparing the electric grid complex of the branch “Rosseti Centre Kostromaenergo” for the heating season. Timely, complete and high-quality implementation of measures will ensure reliable energy supply to consumers in the Kostroma region,” stressed Andrey Meluzov, the deputy chief engineer for production asset management and development of the Kostromaenergo branch.
