More than 1,500 employees underwent training and upgraded their skills in Kostromaenergo for 9 months of this year

The branch “Rosseti Centre Kostromaenergo” summed up the results of personnel training for 9 months of 2019. More than 1,500 employees were given the opportunity to undergo professional training and advanced training. For these purposes, 6.093 million rubles were allocated. The power engineers improved their professional skills in the field of technical operation of distribution grids, maintenance and repair of relay protection and automation devices, and operation of electricity metering devices.

More than 1,300 employees of production units of the enterprise completed advanced training courses. Including 950 employees were trained in safe methods and techniques for performing work at heights, 44 people were trained in various areas in the field of industrial safety, 37 employees improved their skills in repairing switchgears, 3 people received training in the program “Operational management of electrical grids of 35-110 kV”.

64 workers received a second profession: a slinger, a crane and drilling machine operator, an aerial platform and hydraulic lift driver, a loader crane operator, and a forest feller.

To ensure high-quality training of employees, Kostromaenergo cooperates with the “Multifunctional Centre for Applied Qualifications”, which was created on the basis of the Kostroma Energy College named after F.V. Chizhov. In addition, employees of the branch improve their qualifications at the Ivanovo Power Engineering University, at the St. Petersburg Energy Institute of Advanced Studies, at the Academy of Standardization, Metrology and Certification and in the Training and Methodological Office of the Federal Service for Ecological, Technological and Nuclear Supervision. Correspondence and distance learning forms are in demand.

The personnel training system in Kostromaenergo is aimed at maintaining a high professional level of employees, creating conditions for their career and personal growth. By the end of this year, more than 300 employees of Kostromaenergo will have the opportunity to undergo training.
