Voronezhenergo completed the preparation of the region’s electric grid complex for winter

Specialists of the branch “Rosseti Centre Voronezhenergo” completed the preparation of the region’s electric grid complex for the autumn-winter period. The readiness of the power engineers to work in the cold season was confirmed by inspections conducted by representatives of the territorial office of Rostekhnadzor and the regional centre for technical supervision of PJSC Rosseti.

In preparation for the autumn-winter period, Voronezhenergo’s specialists performed over 470 technical and organizational measures (including those prescribed by Rostekhnadzor). To ensure reliable power supply to consumers, repairs were carried out at 35 substations of 35-110 kV, 423 package transformer substations of 10/0.4 kV and 1,383.3 km of power lines of 0.4-110 kV were repaired. Voronezhenergo’s specialists cleared over 1,440 hectares of routes along power lines.

Voronezhenergo created 174 emergency recovery crews, including 8 enhanced mobility crews, which are ready to respond promptly to any emergency situations of anthropogenic and natural character. The total number of the grouping exceeds 900 people, 312 off-road and specialized vehicles. The emergency reserve of materials and equipment of the branch “Rosseti Centre Voronezhenergo” is 100% complete. To ensure temporary power supply to consumers, 69 mobile generators with a total capacity of more than 1.35 MW can be used.

As part of the implementation of the preparation plan for the autumn-winter period, the Voronezh branch of Rosseti Centre conducted more than 50 emergency trainings during the year, including with participation of representatives of the regional department of the EMERCOM of Russia. The trainings were aimed at practicing actions in emergency situations that are typical for work in adverse weather conditions.
