Tambovenergo’s employees conducted a series of lessons on electrical safety in schools of the Tambov region

Employees of the branch Rosseti Centre Tambovenergo continue to conduct electrical safety lessons for children and adolescents in educational institutions of the Tambov region. The next classes for schoolchildren were held on the territory of the Morshansky, Inzhavinsky and Kirsanovsky Distribution Zones of the branch. Their participants were more than 120 children.

The power engineers told the schoolchildren about the basic rules of electrical safety and the meaning of warning signs on electrical equipment, demonstrated first-aid techniques for victims of exposure to electric current. Thematic videos, as well as contests and quizzes helped consolidate the children’s knowledge. At the end of the lessons, the participants were given thematic brochures and posters.

Electrical safety lessons are one of the most important areas of the program to reduce the risk of injuries to third parties at power facilities.

“During the school year, our employees conduct similar classes in educational institutions, and during the holidays - in children’s health camps. The purpose of such events is not only to introduce children to electrical safety rules, but also to conduct an explanatory conversation with teachers and educators,” stressed Nikolay Bogomolov, Deputy General Director - Director of the branch “Rosseti Centre - Tambovenergo”.
