Voronezhenergo’s specialists took part in a round table on issues of digitalization of housing and communal services and energy

28.10.2019

Specialists of the branch “Rosseti Centre Voronezhenergo” took part in the round table “Digital Transformation of Housing and Public Utilities and Energy: meeting the requirements of Federal Law 35 regarding the creation of intelligent electric energy metering systems”. The event, organized by the Department of Housing and Public Utilities and Energy of the Voronezh Region, was held as part of the 46th interregional forum-exhibition “Construction-2019”. It was attended by representatives of energy and resource supply companies operating in the region, regional and city authorities, federal experts in the field of energy and housing and communal services.

Alexander Galitsky, the head of the corporate and technological automated control systems department at Rosseti Centre Voronezhenergo, during the discussion of issues related to the construction of electricity metering systems, noted that the installation of smart electricity metering devices can solve many energy consumption issues. Metering devices connected to a unified system of collecting and analyzing information make it possible to obtain timely and reliable data for the formation of technical and economic indicators, to reduce electricity losses in distribution electric grids. In addition, the problems of monitoring the implementation of the essential conditions of grid connection agreements and the provision of power supply services, as well as cost optimization issues for the efficient management of grid operating modes, are being addressed.

In the Voronezh branch of Rosseti Centre, automation of electricity metering is carried out as part of the digital transformation concept developed by Rosseti’s Group of Companies. This year Voronezhenergo will equip with smart metering systems over 1.4 thousand transformer substations of 10-6/0.4 kV. About 150 million rubles are provided for the project in the branch’s investment program. The expected effect of automation of electricity metering is the achievement of an indicator of electricity losses during transmission of up to 7% in the 0.4-6-10 kV grid and the quality of electricity in accordance with Russian standards.
