The branch “Rosseti Centre Kostromaenergo” launched a personnel training course under the program “Electrician for operation of distribution grids”. Within it, employees from 17 Distribution Zones, whose work experience does not exceed one year, will improve their professional level. The training is aimed at bringing staff qualifications into line with professional standards. The program provides for both theoretical training on the basis of the Kostroma Energy Technical College named after F.V. Chizhov, and production training at the place of the main work. The lesson is conducted by Kostromaenergo’s specialists and teachers of the technical college.
Lectures were organized for personnel on design and operation rules of distribution grid equipment, basics of the legislation of the Russian Federation on labour protection, organization of safe work in existing electrical installations, and fire safety at energy enterprises. The program also includes gaining additional professional knowledge for the trainees in the field of implementing digital technologies in the electric power industry, as well as practical exercises in the main areas of the electricians’ functionalities using modern instruments and equipment.
As a result of the training, the employees will pass a qualification exam. Everyone, who successfully passes the test, will be assigned a rank and will be given a certificate of the profession of a worker.
