Employees of the PR department Kristina Kulaeva and Nadezhda Ilyicheva of the branch “Rosseti Centre Tambovenergo” took part as members of the expert commission of the CASE-IN International Engineering Championship: MediaTEK, which was held as part of the Youth Day #TogetherBrighter of the International Forum “Russian Energy Week” in Moscow. The project was organized by the “Reliable Change Foundation” and National Research Tomsk Polytechnic University together with the organizing committee of the All-Russian Contest of media, press services of companies of the fuel and energy complex and regional administrations “MediaTEK”. The project won the All-Russian contest of youth projects of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs among educational institutions of higher education in 2019.
The championship was attended by 9 student teams representing National Research Tomsk Polytechnic University, Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, Kutafin Moscow State Law Academy, National Research Technological University MISIS, Lomonosov Moscow State University and Nizhnevartovsk State University. The participants needed to develop new forms and approaches of communication with society in terms of information support for the construction of the 110 kV digital substation “Sputnik”. Using, among other things, a creative approach, to develop social events, actions for adults and children, journalists and bloggers, authorities, representatives of enterprises that will become consumers of the services of this energy facility.
As part of the Youth Day #TogetherBrighter, the student teams presented their communication strategies, including coverage of the construction of the substation in the media and social networks. The members of the expert commission evaluated the solutions of the participants according to several criteria: methodology, economics, originality and novelty of the solution, quality of presentation and speech, answers to the experts’ questions. The winners of the championship were presented personal diplomas during the meeting “Dialog on an equal footing” by Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation Alexander Novak and Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation Mikhail Kotyukov.
