In 2019, the fleet of the branch “Rosseti Centre Yarenergo” was increased with 67 motor and specialized vehicles. Among the acquired vehicles are car repair shops, hydraulic lifts, crane-drilling machines, all-terrain vehicles, snowmobiles and other specialized equipment.
Among the special innovations is a multifunctional digital electric laboratory. It is designed to conduct a full range of technical diagnostics, fault location in cable power lines, test substation equipment and has been used by power engineers since August. Thanks to the use of modern digital technologies, increased work efficiency is achieved and the laboratory equipment management is simplified.
On the eve of the autumn-winter period of 2019 - 2020, the Yarenergo branch purchased 26 snowmobiles and trailers for their transportation. The snowmobiles will arrive in each Distribution Zone. These vehicles are indispensable for inspecting power lines in winter, when it is difficult to quickly move in deep snow in any other way.
This year, the Yarenergo branch got the GAZ-3409 snow and swamp vehicle. The caterpillar conveyor is adapted for operation in especially difficult road and climatic conditions, easily overcomes water barriers and successfully moves over rough terrain. In Yarenergo, various models of caterpillar equipment are used, in particular the Tinger snow and swamp vehicles, which have proven themselves when carrying out repairs of power lines in hard-to-reach areas.
Specialized vehicles are the key to the effective implementation of scheduled repair and emergency recovery work at the branch’s power facilities and ensuring reliable energy supply to consumers. In total, about a thousand units of motor and specialized vehicles are on the balance sheet of the branch “Rosseti Centre Yarenergo”.
