Kostromaenergo’s electrician of a mobile crew was awarded the Certificate of Honour of PJSC Rosseti

Nikolay Afonin, an electrician of a first responding mobile crew of the operational-technological group of Kostromsky Distribution Zone of the branch “Rosseti Centre Kostromaenergo” was awarded the Certificate of Honour of PJSC Rosseti. The award was presented for a significant contribution to the development of the electric grid complex of the Kostroma region and many years of conscientious work.

Nikolay Afonin came to the enterprise in 1984 as a driver of the 2nd level and worked for 26 years as a car driver, and since 2010 he was transferred to the position of an electrician of a first responding mobile crew with combination of driver duties. In general, Nikolay Afonin has been working in the energy industry for 34 years.

The operational management of the crew where the power engineer works includes overhead lines of 10 kV - 886 km, overhead lines of 0.4kV - 898 km, transformer substations. Nikolay Afonin, as part of the first responding mobile crew, timely switches off substation equipment and power lines for repairs, participates in elimination of emergency situations at lines and electrical equipment, and in performance of grid connections. For his work and professionalism, Nikolay Afonin repeatedly received awards from the Kostromaenergo branch.
