Specialists of the branch “Rosseti Centre Lipetskenergo” took a two-day course to improve driving skills.
90 drivers of Lipetskenergo were trained in defensive driving. It allows to avoid accidents in adverse weather conditions and erroneous actions of other road users. In addition, the staff of the branch mastered the program “Defensive driving”, the training for which took place in two stages. The first included a theoretical course that takes into account the characteristics of the operation of the car, in which the driver performs his duties in various weather conditions on roads with different surfaces. At the second stage, the branch’s employees honed their driving skills in practice. An experienced instructor at a specialized training centre showed the drivers how to drive in critical situations, often on the road.
The main purpose of the training is to increase the level of professional skills of the drivers, introduce new forms and methods of work aimed at reducing the risk of accidents and road traffic accidents, reducing traffic accidents and improving road safety.
“It’s no secret that the trends in the modern development of the economy and technology are qualitatively changing the road traffic and require constant improvement of the level of training of drivers, their focus on the safe driving of a vehicle. Lipetskenergo systematically conducts training of driver personnel in effective training programs, because the result of our joint work depends on the skill level of employees,” stressed Sergey Kazmin, the head of the mechanization and transport service of Lipetskenergo.
