On the eve of the Day of Older Persons, employees of the branch “Rosseti Centre Tverenergo” congratulated a veteran of the power system Tamara F. Kozlova.
The power engineers personally visited Tamara Kozlova, who recently celebrated her 85th birthday.
Tamara Kozlova worked for more than 35 years at “Kalininenergo”, having passed the production path from an engineer to the head of the planning and economic department, and is a hereditary power engineer - the woman’s father worked at Tverskaya HPP-2 from 1926. During her career, Tamara Kozlova was awarded the award “Honorary Power Engineer of the Ministry of Energy” and the badge “Excellence in Energy”.
The power engineers warmly communicated with the veteran and handed her memorable gifts from the Primary Trade Union Organization of Tverenergo.
“It is gratifying that the native organization does not forget us, old people. It is important to feel that even after retirement you are valued and remembered. Thanks to the staff of Tverenergo for this warm meeting,” Tamara Kozlova thanked the guests.
“Employees of the company bear a great responsibility to veterans,” stressed Oksana Nikulina, a specialist of the 1st category of the social relations department of Tverenergo. “Ensuring the reliable operation of the electric grid complex, they continue the work begun by their predecessors. Veterans laid the foundation for the modern development of the Tver power system, and today’s power engineers are not entitled to allow the achievements of previous generations to be lost.”
A tribute to veterans-power engineers in the branch is not just one-time actions, but constant care for the older generation. Tverenergo’s employees regularly visit senior citizens of the industry and provide assistance with housework. On Victory Day, the branch congratulates veterans of World War II, representatives of the Youth Council give them gifts. The branch annually provides the older generation with financial support, including in difficult situations.
