The energy quiz “Energy Saving for Each and Everyone” was dedicated to the popularization of a culture of respect for energy. Active participants in the conversation were not only invited pupils from grades 8 and 10 of school No. 29 in Smolensk, but also library workers.

During the team game, the pupils were able to demonstrate their erudition and knowledge of the basics of energy conservation and ecology. At the end of the event, the visitors enjoyed taking pictures with hashtags in support of energy conservation and environmental concerns.

The formation of the culture of caring for electric energy and other energy resources among the younger generation is an urgent task today, which is part of the state program in the field of energy conservation and energy efficiency. Every year, Smolenskenergo’s specialists actively support the initiative of the Ministry of Energy of Russia aimed at educating the younger generation of a careful attitude to energy resources and the environment. Communication with preschoolers, schoolchildren and students on topics of energy conservation and energy efficiency is carried out by power engineers constantly.
