Kostromaenergo provided power to a new school in the regional centre

Specialists of the branch “Rosseti Centre Kostromaenergo” completed a set of activities on connection to the electric grid of a school, which is being built in Zavolzhsky district of the city of Kostroma. For this, two new cable lines were constructed by the power engineers. The new school for a thousand places is being built as part of a federal program to promote the creation of new places in general education institutions in constituent entities of the Russian Federation. Its commissioning, scheduled for the end of 2019, will significantly relieve educational institutions in Zavolzhsky district.

In addition, by the end of the year in the settlement of Yakshanga in Ponazyrevsky district, it is planned to erect a new school building with 120 seats. At present, Kostromaenergo’s specialists carried out activities that will allow the school to be connected to the electric grid. In particular, a package transformer substation with a rated power of 160 kVA, new overhead and cable lines were constructed. The maximum connected power under the 2nd category of energy supply reliability will be 149 kW.

Now schoolchildren of the village are studying in a two-story building, built back in the 30s of the last century. The emergence of a new educational institution in Yakshanga will create modern comfortable conditions for teaching children.
