Employees of the branch “Rosseti Centre Tambovenergo”* took part in the organization of the annual city holiday for first-graders held in Tambov as part of the All-Russian project “Children are our future”.
On the embankment of the Tsna River, the organizers of the holiday launched the “Alley of First-Graders”: stands with photographs and names of Tambov first-graders and a list of professions of their dreams, around which there are more than 50 thematic platforms, on each of which various professions were presented. Tambov power engineers presented a platform called “I am an electrician”. Each of the children who visited it could try on a working suit of an electrician here, see specialized vehicles that power engineers use in everyday work. A photo zone with the symbols of the All-Russian Festival of Energy Saving #TogetherBrighter was also organized on the site, where guests of the holiday could take pictures with the electrician’s working tools, hashtags in support of the idea of using energy-efficient technologies.
During the event, Tambovenergo’s Youth Council organized a bright flash mob. Under a live performance of the national anthem of the All-Russian Festival #TogetherBrighter, the power engineers threw colourful balls of bright tones to the guests of the event. A few minutes later a real web appeared on the site, which symbolized the electrical grids that entangled the entire Tambov region and brought light to people. The flash mob caused a sea of positive emotions among children and their parents, who picked up the colourful action by taking part in it.
“We are trying to show children in a playful way the importance of the power engineering profession, because energy ensures the smooth operation and development of many sectors of the economy. The thematic platform of Tambovenergo is very popular among the citizens who attended the holiday, so in the future our employees will take an active part in such events,” stressed Nikolay Bogomolov, Deputy General Director - Director of the branch “Rosseti Centre Tambovenergo”.
* From June 2019, all companies of the transmission and distribution grid complex in corporate and marketing communications, as well as on all corporate identity carriers will use the new name containing the Rosseti trademark and regional or functional binding.
