Voronezhenergo implements a repair program in excess of planned targets

The branch “Rosseti Centre Voronezhenergo” summed up the implementation of the repair program for 8 months of this year. Its key activities are carried out in excess of planned targets.

Since the beginning of the year, Voronezhenergo’s specialists have repaired 1,158 km of 0.4-110 kV overhead power lines (102% of the repair program plan for 8 months), replaced about 24 thousand insulators and over 15 km of lightning protection cables. Equipment repair was carried out at 369 transformer substations of 10/0.4 kV (101% of the repair program plan for 8 months). Over 1,200 hectares of routes along power lines of various voltage levels were also cleared from tree and shrubbery vegetation.

“The work carried out during the implementation of the repair program is aimed at preparing the region’s energy complex for failure-free passage of the autumn-winter period, as well as improving the reliability of energy supply to consumers. The power engineers take all necessary measures to ensure high-quality and reliable power supply to all consumers in the region,” stressed Vyacheslav Antonov, Chief Engineer at Rosseti Centre Voronezhenergo.

In total, as part of the repair campaign of the current year, Voronezhenergo’s specialists will have to repair over 1,360 kilometres of 0.4-110 kV overhead power lines and 403 transformer substations. the Equipment overhaul is also planned at 39 substations of 35 and 110 kV. In order to prevent emergencies, it is planned to clear over 1,400 hectares of routes along overhead power lines from tree and shrubbery vegetation.
