By the decree of the President of the Russian Federation of 23 August 2019, for the services in the field of energy and many years of conscientious work, the honorary title “Honoured Power Engineer of the Russian Federation” was awarded to three employees of Rosseti Centre Belgorodenergo.
The state awards to an electrician for operation of distribution grids of Shebekinsky Distribution Zone Nikolay Kuznetsov, the master of a crew for operation of cable lines of Belgorodsky Distribution Zone Alexander Kastornykh, and an engineer for relay protection and automation Leonid Rostovtsev were presented by Governor of the Belgorod region Yevgeny Savchenko. “The impeccable work of Belgorodenergo’s employees is often taken by us as a matter of course. Awarding the honorary title “Honoured Power Engineer” will be an expression of our deep appreciation for your dedicated work for the benefit of society,” stressed Governor, congratulating the company’s employees on the well-deserved awards.
Nikolay Kuznetsov has been working in the region’s energy sector for 38 years. He took part in the establishment and development of the electric grid complex of Shebekinsky district, the development of power supply schemes for livestock and poultry facilities, social facilities and housing estates of individual housing construction. He made a great contribution to the modernization of key supply centres - the 35-110 kV substations “Khimzavod”, “Starikovo”, “Artelnoye”, “Belyanka”; he participated in the commissioning of an automated outdoor lighting control system on the section of the Shebekino-Volokonovka highway. Thanks to him, dozens of important industrial and small business facilities and thousands of residents of Shebekinsky district were provided with reliable power supply.
Alexander Kastornykh devoted thirty years to the region’s energy. He was involved in the development of optimal, reliable power supply schemes for various categories of consumers, including large industrial enterprises and socially important facilities, laid cable lines to such important facilities as a cardio-centre, the regional perinatal centre, the shopping centres “City Mall” and “Megagrinn”, the residential neighbourhood “Snail”, housing estates of individual housing construction “South-West” and many others. In 2017 alone, under his leadership, about 150 cable couplers were installed in Belgorod, which helps maintain reliable and uninterrupted power supply to consumers of the regional centre.
In the service area of the engineer with 36 years of experience Leonid Rostovtsev there are hundreds of relay protection and emergency control devices that protect substations and lines from fault. The engineer takes part in the reconstruction of existing equipment, installation and commissioning of protections of newly constructed facilities, the implementation of new types of intelligent protections on a microprocessor-based element base. In 2017, he was involved in the implementation of directional high-frequency protection of the 110 kV “Valuyki-Veydelevka” and “Veydelevka-Aidar” transit overhead lines, the newly connected 35 kV “Efko” cable line (one of the largest consumers in Alekseevsky district); Last year, he participated in the commissioning of microprocessor-based power equipment protection systems at the new 110/10 kV substation “Vatutinskaya”.
The power engineers share the knowledge and experience gained over many years of work in the region’s energy sector with young specialists, raising the future shift of qualified specialists.
