A new children’s clinic opened in Usman on 31 August. For its work, Lipetskenergo’s employees constructed new overhead power lines and a package transformer substation, as well as laid a new cable line. The grid connection capacity was 100 kW.

The new medical facility will be able to accommodate 150 children per shift. The clinic has rooms for pediatricians, a surgeon, a neurologist and an ophthalmologist, an ultrasound diagnostic room, a vaccination room and a treatment room. In addition, chambers of the day hospital are open here.

Also, in anticipation of the new school year, the branch “Lipetskenergo” connected the “Cheburashka” kindergarten, located in the village of Krivopolianye in Chaplyginsky district, to the grid. It is designed for 60 children, equipped with modern facilities and game sets. Electricity was provided for a kindergarten in the village of Lavy in Yeletsky district, also designed for 60 children. A two-story modern preschool with spacious music and sports halls was the first and so far the only one in the village.

Until the end of 2019, the branch “Lipetskenergo” plans to connect two more preschool educational institutions in Lipetsky and Izmalkovsky districts to electric grids.

In addition, specialists from the Lipetsk branch of Rosseti Centre, ahead of schedule, connected to the grid a site for construction of a comprehensive school with a pool and a gym in the city of Usman for 800 pupils. The building will have an elevator for handicapped pupils. In the basement of the elementary school building there will be a shooting range and a gym. Commissioning of the facility is planned by 1 May 2020.
