The branch “Rosseti Centre Smolenskenergo” pays great attention to staff training. For 7 months of 2019, 677 employees of the branch underwent vocational training, retraining and advanced training in various specialties and areas. 4.57 million rubles were allocated for these purposes.
Smolenskenergo’s employees acquired new knowledge in the field of labour protection, safe work and fire safety. The training was conducted under such programs as “Professional training of persons for the right to work with hazardous waste”, “Norms and rules for working in electrical installations during testing and measurement”, “Training of personnel responsible for organizing transportation and the authorization of vehicles on line”, “Training as a resuscitating instructor with the right to train non-medical personnel in first-aid methods and procedures”, and “Defense driving course”.
Smolenskenergo is interested in highly qualified employees. The whole system of organization of the branch’s staff training is aimed at maintaining their high professional level, creating conditions for their career and personal growth. For staff, training and certification for the right of admission to the performance of a special type of work are provided.
The branch’s management sends employees to study under special programs of professional retraining and advanced training in the branch of NRU “MPEI” in the city of Smolensk, in Ivanovo State Power Engineering University and other specialized educational institutions. “The close cooperation of Smolenskenergo with higher and secondary specialized educational institutions allows not only to provide a high level of staff qualification, but also to replenish the staff with young promising specialists,” stressed Alla Korolkova, the head of the HR department.
