Kostromaenergo congratulated energy first-graders

In anticipation of the start of the new school year, the traditional solemn event “Energy First-Grader Day” was held at the branch “Rosseti Centre Kostromaenergo”. At it, employees of the branch, representatives of the trade union organization, the Veterans’ Council honoured children of Kostromaenergo’s employees who will go to the first grade on 1 September.

The first graders with their first important step in their lives were congratulated by Director of the branch “Rosseti Centre Kostromaenergo” Dmitry Prokhorov. In particular, he noted that he was sincerely glad that the children visited the walls of the enterprise where their parents work, and Kostromaenergo’s employees were able to congratulate their colleagues and their families on the beginning of a new stage in the life of their children. The very first lesson for the first-graders was the lesson on energy efficiency, which was held as part of the All-Russian festival of energy conservation and ecology “Together Brighter-2019”. Respect for the teacher, lessons, the future profession was conveyed to the children in their parting word by Kostromaenergo’s veterans. “I remember going to the first grade,” says Yekaterina Ushanova, the chair of the Veterans’ Council. “School years are wonderful and unforgettable. We will be happy for you, be proud of your successes and victories in the country of knowledge.”

At the “Energy First-Grader Day”, representatives of the trade union organization of the enterprise organized an entertainment program for the children, after which they were presented with gifts - multi-coloured globes.

“We started holding the “Energy First-Grader Day” eight years ago,” stresses Lyudmila Tkachenko, the head of the HR department of the branch “Rosseti Centre Kostromaenergo”. “We hope that after years, after leaving the school and graduating from higher educational institutions, the children will come to work in the energy sector and continue the work begun by their parents.”
