The branch “Rosseti Centre Kostromaenergo” pays special attention to the compliance of the quality of electricity transmitted to consumers with GOST requirements. As part of this area, Kostromaenergo’s employees conduct monitoring of electricity quality indicators using special measuring instruments - “Resource” devices.
For the first half of 2019, Kostroma power engineers carried out 560 measurements of electricity quality indicators at the branch’s energy facilities, including 12 measurements based on received consumers’ requests.
Implementation of technical measures aimed at ensuring the quality of electricity is under special control in the branch. These include separation of 0.4 kV overhead lines, voltage regulation at transformer substations of 6-10/0.4 kV, phase distribution of loads, laying of a full-phase grid and others.
In the first half of 2019, 12 such events were developed and successfully implemented in Kostromaenergo. The work carried out increased the quality and reliability of power supply to consumers in the Kostroma region, which was confirmed by appropriate measurements.
“The work in the direction of electricity quality is, first of all, aimed at satisfaction of consumers of the Kostroma region with the level of services provided by the branch,” explained the head of the metrology and electricity quality department - the chief metrologist of the branch Artem Kireev.
