Governor of the Kostroma region thanked power engineers of Kostromaenergo for eliminating consequences of a hurricane

Governor of the Kostroma region Sergey Sitnikov at a daily meeting in the region’s administration expressed gratitude to the management and employees of the branch “Rosseti Centre Kostromaenergo” for the efficient work to restore electricity supply in Kologrivsky district of the region that was disrupted as a result of the disaster.

Please, be reminded that on 22 August at 4 p.m. as a result of tornado phenomena (rain, thunderstorm, increase of wind up to 15 m/s) in the city of Kologriv there were technological violations on power lines - about two thousand people were de-energized. 6 crews of Kostromaenergov consisting of 22 people, as well as 6 vehicles, took part in eliminating the consequences of the bad weather. To help the crews of Kologrivsky Distribution Zone, colleagues arrived from Mezhevsky, Manturovsky, Pyschugsky Distribution Zones. By 8 a.m. on 23 August, the power supply of the district centre was completely restored.
